Note on the Course Textbook
The official textbook for this course will be the 8th edition of Macroeconomics, by Mankiw. Used copies of the 8th edition can be purchased through Amazon.
However, feel free to purchase the book from any source you like. Checking around online for the cheapest options for all of your textbooks before the semester starts can often lead to substantial savings.
You may also use the 9th edition instead of the 8th edition. Both are very similar and include all material you will need for what we cover in class this semester. Some end of chapter problems are slightly different in the 8th and 9th editions. But, copies of all assigned and suggested problems will be handed out during class and posted on Blackboard, so you need not worry about those differences.
